THE HEART.

"Follow that lightness in your Heart and that will eventually lead you to a life of purpose, some of the biggest questions of the Heart, we follow as a path and not as a question". From the film "The Power of the Heart" with people like Paulo Coelho, Maya Angelou, Eckhart Tolle, Isabel Allende and Mark Nepo.

This film made my day, up lifted my spirit, connected me with my heart and made me think about my own purpose here in life. At this moment I for sure know that I am a Mother with a big M as I now have 3 children and the youngest is only 4 months old. What else I am - what else is my Heart telling me, what may I hear if I get quiet enough to be able to listen?

So shut up Marian and listen!!

I know in my Heart that being a Mother will help me see my self because your children do not let you go the easy way - they want you to be there, in the now, completely present and openhearted. Otherwise, they will show you a mirrow that I am sure you will not like - that is certainly what my children do to me. It is not easy at times, but I do my best and hope to grow in this connection and relationship.

What else am I - what es is my Heart telling me?

Over and over agian, it is telling me to share what is iside me, what makes me totally fiery and full of joy. Like when the Shen is sparkling in my eyes and the biggest smile is on my lips because I just can't stop being passionate about what inspires me deeply. Really do what I find makes me happy, be happy at heart, and not think about the outcome of what I do.

So that is why I am in the middle of creating my own website in my name and I have an urge to kick off by using my blog more often just to share all that is sparking inside me like the fine sweet bubbles in an exquisite glass of champagne. The bubbles are so full of life and fun as they come into the glass making the glass look as pretty as ever, now that it contains this golden tasteful liquid. Of cause, the glass on its own is just an empty container but with the golden champagne inside it, there is magic in the air.

A keyword for me on my path is to share what inspires me and to inform what is in my heart. Just like my congresses have reflected - that Scandinavian TCM Congresses in Denmark, the sharing from the wonderful experts. Their knowledge, wisdom and personal stories all of which make them whom they are, like we all are a reflection of the path we have walked allready. Are we walking our Golden Path - the path we are meant to be on for supporting the healing of the world!!

Mark Nepo in the above mention film makes a truthful statement: " The longest journey can be the one from our mind to our heart"...!

But I want to do my best in making that journey the best one in my life and enjoy every step of it, and the often used line often can follow it. "It is the journey that is important and not the goal".

I am looking forward to sharing the intense path of my life with you all, sharing all that lights my fire, and I want to "walk the talk" so it will for sure not be boring or grey, but colourfull and exciting as I find the first 10 things to write about and share. It is clear to me that sharing and cultivation are some of the core values in my life. I have learned that by sharing, you cultivate yourself and by learning from the experience of each other, you develop yourself and creat a platform for healing!

As Heiner Fruehauf's states it: "All diseases come the heart" I want to write the following "All healing comes the Heart". It goes hand in hand and the Shen always seeks harmony, so wake up and follow your Golden Path! I will for sure do my best and as you often know: "you get what you need and not what you want".

I have so many thoughts that I want to share with you all. But every journey begins with the first step,
and the following are some of the topics that I plan to write about in the next months.

- My shamanic home birth.
- The first steps into the world of shamanism.
- Face reading - my Golden Path.
- Rothenburg ala 2015.
- When the practitioner get a diseased.
- Love for healthiness.
- My Danish inspiring food experts.
- Anger and sadness.

Cokorda Rai a traditional healer and shaman of Bali.

Balian are the name of the traditional healers and shamans of Bali, they play an important role for the tradition here on this beautiful paradise island.

WOW was I excited to go to this healer here on Bali. All ready on our arrival evening, I told out Villa manager Suzanne, that we wanted to visit a healer. She speaks the local language and she has lived here for more than 22 years. So she called the next morning and we could go the day after between 10 and 11. What was I to expect for me and my family - we where all to go for this sitting!

The evening before I started to have butterflies in my stomach, as I was so excited. In my heart I feel I need to get much more into shamanism and healing after being practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine for more than 10 years now. There is this longing for insights towards the beginning of an original medicine, the shamanism, from where all natural healing medicine originates from.

Cokorda Rai is the name of our healer and he is over 80 years old. He is sitting in his Balinese temple and we are to sit in front of him on a straw mat. He asked us where we are from and by telling him we are from Switzerland, he pulls out a business card from one of his former students from our country. You don't believe it this person is from Chur, which is only 40 min away from where we lives in Switzerland. I will have to meet up with this Iris at our return to the mountains. We had to wait for a minute until Cok Rai was finishing chopping up some herbs for a local patients, who had dizziness and nausea.

So Thomas is the first one to step up to Cok Rai and sit below his feet. He starts to feel on Thomas's ears, temples, cheeks, around his face, on his neck and shoulders. Thomas feels pain on the right side all the time and he says, that his problem is less good sleep. The next question from Cok Rai is what kind of job Thomas is doing. He then tells this to Thomas: "You are too much on computers, that is giving you stress and bad sleep". Cok Rai now sits down next to Thomas's feet and starts to make a pressure with a wooden stick on the side of the toes.  Avvv the sleep point are painful and the hormonal point. You can almost start to sweat tears, when being pressed on the "pain" point. Cok Rai tells Thomas to take a weeks break from computers and during he work at home also to take a break very 2 hours. Then he gives him a visualization exercise, which he are to do every evening before going to bed and the to fall asleep with his hand on his heart, quietly feeling his heart beat.

The next one is me and I show him my skin allergies, which I always get on my arms being in the strong sun and in the sea. He asked me to lay down on the straw mat and he is looking for the "painful" point on my toes. All along our children Sean and Zoey are taking great interest in this and I wonder what they are thinking. Avvv my pancreas point and my hormonal point are hurting and I pull my leg back. "Yes yes you have dampness in your body and you must eat less sucker and only drink water when you have been to the toilet. First eliminate water before taking in water again." Did I not know this all ready and my sweet tooth have a hard time letting go off me. As to my hormonal point hurting, he asked me, if I have menstrual pains, are taking the pill or if I have had a sterilization. My answer is no to all the questions. Then he looks at me and says he will give me medicine for my arms. A little bag of oil with herbs inside and I shall rub this into my skin each day!

I then asks him if he will look at the children, but at first he say he don't treat children. Though Sean is all ready standing up to be looked at, so I want to show him that Sean has a swollen glans on the side of the neck. Cok Rai say that if it is on the left side he eats badly - that is so true! He then say that if he had it on the other side, right side, he would be a naughty boy. Sean has it on both side and yes he can be a big handful. Our daughter Zoey only have it on the right side, she too is a big handful, but she has all ways be a good eater. What he knows just from the swollen glans on the side of the neck by a child. At home we visited the GP and he said that it is normal for a child to have this, if the swellings are small. Well there are much to know about why they are there and what kind of effect it has and what to interpret from it. So we got medicine for the children too. The herbs are looking like green grass and I am to mix it each night with a bit of my saliva and then rub it on the swollen glans.

This was such an interesting visit and I day dream about, if one day I could become a student of his. Like the france women that is also at the temple that day, she is a student of Cok Rai learning this old traditions. She is smiling at us telling us that she is totally grateful to have this opportunity and that it is at times a big challenge for the ego learning this old tradition of healing.

Balian are the name of the traditional healers of Bali and there are about 8000 of them on Bali - they are to serve the community and not to turn anyone away. There are rich possibilities to visit a Balian being on holiday on Bali. "Eat, Pray, Love" the film with Julia Roberts, which is based on the book by Elizabeth Gilbert (loved the book ;-), the focus and spotlight on the Balian has exploded. Many tourists wants to visit one and that is all okay being sick or just of interest. But it is utterly important to respect this tradition and act accordantly to the rules of visiting an healer. There are more to read about all this from the website of Made Surya, who is an authority on Bali's traditional healers - see the link below.

http://www.balihealers.com

It is all very interesting and very inspiring. Now I would love to get more into the shamanism of my own medicine - the shamanism of Chinese Medicine. All in all I am sure this is also one of the gifts that Bali are to hand over to me being here on our "a dream come true" family trip. Getting a insight into this traditions healers and shamanism.

Healthy and Wealthy

Being healthy is very important for us and we are making sure that our children knows what is good food and what is less good food as to what is healthy sweets.

Bali gives us each day our great wheatgrass shot just as we take a short every day at home and there is also many great fruit juice to choose from like healthy drinks:

The wheatgrass shot we take at home in Switzerland comes from this company LiveWheatgrass where the owner is the Dane Britt and I work together with her importing the wheatgrass to Switzerland so that my patients in the clinic can get the benefit of this lovely shot of health which brings wealth.

Check out the website of Live Wheatgrass and do try this both for your morning shot and in the smoothies you make:

Morning yoga just next to the beach.

Yoga at the beach - how better can one start the day.

Yes, we all had a good night sleep and could open our eyes to a beuatiful clear sunny sky. The sweeties still in bed reading the pixi books we brought with us from home and I could step outside next to the pool and meditate, which I have not done for a long time. There was also a time for Kidney Breathing Qi Gong.  Then the inner calling was to do yoga this morning on the beach by the nice yoga place "Power of Now Oasis" here in Sanur.

I am so very surprised and pleased with the yoga community there are here on Bali and I did know a bit about it as Thomas's cousin Bettina, did a yoga retreat here not long ago and she told us about her experience. It really feels like a yoga island if you want it to be as you find many great places for yoga.

This morning was so nice being close to the beach and being able to do 1,5 hour of yoga taught by Lan. Having the body twisted and turned as one let the mind be open and the heart fills up with peace and joy. Could I end the yoga session feeling happy at heart. All along Thomas and the children could have a morning swim in the sea just next to the studio.

Tomorrow at the "Power of Now Qasis" they have Yoga for Kids at 16.00 so we will join them again as Zoey all ready this morning said that she wanted to do yoga to together with me. This will be great fun as we will all 4 do yoga together - this might be a great thing and I should talk with Katharina at home if she could organized that too in Ilanz, as if we will turn in to a yoga family.

Happy yoga kids makes happy yoga parent ;-)

For sure I will go for yoga here again or to the other place here in town, which I also will write a blog about as they serve fantastic organic food and we had a lovely lunch at that place yesterday.

There are so many great place here in Sanur and you really feel at home at once. Over and over again it goes through my mind "could I live here?" I could certainly stay here for quiet a long time as for more month.... Well maybe that should go into my 5 years plan! You never know what life brings you of gifts or ideas as to take a year out of the calendar and do a yoga year and a Bali shamanic tradition education!

Happy yoga sweet smiles and greetings to you all around the world.....!

Life gives you a present on Bali.

Life gives you a present on Bali - make sure you remember to unpack it.

This is my very first blog and am I excited to share with you my Life Path interests and passion for all I believe in. My blog will start here and unfold it self as I have time being away from every day life at home.

Being on the road with my sweet family for 6 weeks holiday, a journey we have saved for and planed for for many years by now. All ready as Sean was a baby Thomas and I made each other a promise that we would take a long holiday as a family before Sean would start kindergarten.

It is now and we have enjoyed the first week of traveling, started out in Singapore to acclimate for the warm weather and being on Bali for a few days by now. Bali the island that Lonely Planet travel book describes as "The mere mention of Bali' evokes thoughts of a paradise. It's more than a place; it's a mood, an aspiration, a tropical state of mind."

Yes we are getting into the Bali state of mind "relaxing"and our sweeties Sean and Zoey feels at home at our "away from home - home" which we have booked through air b&b - Rene's lovely place which we have the pleasure of enjoy our first 10 days here at Sanur beach.

Sean and Zoey by the pool side playing and having fun.

This is a gift for life that we have given us as a family and we will for sure look back on it many years to come. So what will Bali unfold for us during this 30 days we are here to nourish our self and us 4 as a family!

I was here exactly 20 years ago as I traveled around the world being 20 years old and being back here just turned 40 years old and this time with my family. Amazing there are just placed you have to return to and I am sure that by the end of this journey I know why!

Stay with us and I will share with you all our interesting stories and adventures that we are to have being on Bali this paradise island.

Adventures we have had and that I will share: we visit the Bali Zoo and had an elephant ride, as a family we visit a Balian - Bali's traditional healers. This I am really looking forward to share with you being a practitioner of Chinese Medicine and on the search of "what is healing"!

Sweet Bali Smiles

Marian and family.
